More About Coach Caleb
I bring real playing experience to every session, having competed as a defensive back at the college level at Fordham and professionally in the CFL with the Toronto Argonauts and Edmonton Elks. I have trained athletes of various ages and skill levels, focusing on the technical, physical, and mental demands that separate good players from great ones. I am currently pursuing a graduate degree in social work, which gives me a unique edge in understanding the mental side of performance alongside the physical. Also coached at Fordham University for a year
I played college football at Fordham University before turning pro and competing in the Canadian Football League, suiting up for the Toronto Argonauts and Edmonton Elks as a defensive back. Competing at the professional level taught me what it actually takes to prepare, perform, and adjust under pressure, lessons I now pass on directly to the athletes I train.
A typical session with me starts with a movement and mindset check in, since how an athlete feels mentally often shows up physically. From there we work through position specific drills, footwork, reaction time, and technique, all built around what a defensive back or skill player needs on game day. I also weave in mental performance strategies, helping athletes build focus and confidence, not just strength and speed. Every session ends with a quick debrief so the athlete leaves knowing exactly what we worked on and why
