More About Coach Austin
I have experience training athletes at the collegiate, high school and masters level. I am currently Head Coach of Track & Field at Houghton University, where I coach Sprints, Hurdles and High Jump. Prior to Houghton I was the Sprints/Hurdles coach at Castleton University where I was able to help athletes break numerous school records. I have a USTFCCCA Sprints/Hurdles Specialist Certification.
As an athlete, I specialized in the 110m hurdles. I was the NAC 110m Hurdles Champion in 2016/2017, and was 1st team all conference from 2016-2018.
What you can expect from a session with me is an effective warm-up, including mobility and sprinting specific movements to keep you feeling elastic and powerful. I use a technical approach to ensure no movements are wasted from the start to the finish line.
