I offer fundamental workouts, where we touch on all the basic skills needed for any given sport. For football position specifics, we start with position basics, then as the athlete shows improvement we will continue to progress to more position specific, and or technique based drills.
For skilled players, a generic work out consist of speed ladder, plyometrics, circuit training, stance & start, hand eye coordination, cone drills and strength and conditioning (depending on age and experience).
All in all, if you let me know what you are looking to be better at I can tailor the session to focus on the specifics shared prior to any session.

My son had the opportunity to participate in individual training sessions with Coach Augustino, and he loved it.
Coach Augustino brought a wealth of knowledge and passion. He tailored the training to focus on my son's specific needs, incorporating a variety of football drills that will not only improve his skills on the field but also build his confidence.
What truly stands out is Coach Augustino's commitment to creating a personalized training plan. He took the time to assess my son's strengths and areas for improvement, providing him with a clear roadmap to get faster, stronger, and more prepared for the upcoming season. It's clear that he genuinely cares about the athletes he works with and is dedicated to their growth. If you're looking for a coach who is knowledgeable, motivating, and truly invested in his players' success, I highly recommend Coach Augustino.

Coach Augustino is outstanding! His knowledge of the details and fundamentals of the game, and his ability to communicate what he knows to kids is more than impressive. My eleven-year-old son had three sessions with him, and my son improved after each session. His speed increased after session one and his catching technique definitely improved after session two. I would highly recommend coach without reservation to any parent who wants to see their son's or daughter's football skills improve and their excitement to play the game skyrocket. My son can't wait to start of his season because of what he learned from coach.

We had an initial lesson with Coach Augustino and we could not be any happier. The methods of his instruction, the encouragement he provided my son, and the accountability he held my son to without being negative or discouraging was amazing! Coach is absolutely fantastic at what he does and my son grew with leaps and bounds in the first 90 minute lesson. To see the progress from start to finish was stunning! We are going to book more sessions with him soon!

Referance my son is 6'- 200Lbs High school senior Linebacker / RB, We have had 3 sessions so far with Coach Augustino and each session is top notch. He is able to quickly identify the areas needed for improvement and incorporate that into the sessions all the while explaining to my son what each exercise does. He is very encouraging and supportive while pushing my son to reach his potential. We will continue to work with coach Augustino and I strongly encourage anyone reading this review, you will not be disappointed.

We have only had 1 session so far with Coach Augustino and we already see a difference in our son's confidence on the field. The session was excellent and they did so many different things. Coach Augustino seems to really know football and how to take players to the next level. We are excited to see how much more our son will learn from him. We signed up for 5 sessions and are so happy we did!

Coach Augustino was excellent. He brought passion and energy from the moment we met him. This was my son's first session and we were both very impressed with how detailed and focused Coach Augustino is. He broke down the lessons in ways that made it easy to understand and develop from. We cannot wait for our next session. Thank you coach.

An EXCELLENT coach and a PROFESSIONAL!!! I have a high school freshman WR who has been playing football for over (6) years. He has had several coaches and over the past (2) years my son has really begun to show his football potential. Over the past year, we began private 1-on-1 sessions with several coaches in the OC/LA/IE areas Each coach we've trained with played or coached at the college and some even at the professional level. With that said, Coach Adams is hands down the best WR coach we've had. I knew since our first session that we will be returning to him for as long as he's around training. His background, knowledge and passion are unmatched. He sees EVERYTHING the player does right and does wrong and takes the time to correct any problems or bad habits. Coach Adams is a fun and intense coach who is able to motivate the athlete and push them through tough workouts. He is always talking and coaching the player through the entire session and is constantly giving feedback, encouragement and correction. Coach Adams instills perfection in the athlete and will not settle for less than your best effort.
For me, the other coaches we've used appeared to have a ceiling. They were each able to teach a few things which we found value in but after a couple of months it appeared the learning had tapered off and so did the progress. It was very apparent from the onset and after a couple sessions that Coach Adams doesn't have a ceiling. He has so much to offer that even college level athletes can learn from him and I would even go as far to say some pros. Another thing I like is his written feedback to the player and parent. Most of the other coaches we've used we would receive a "good job" "looking good" "hard worker" "great athlete" etc. etc. etc. With Coach Adams, he talks with the athlete and parent and takes the time to write a detailed and lengthy evaluation with credibility. The evaluation talks about what the player does right, what the player can improve upon and ways the player can improve upon it. It's open and honest feedback that not everybody can appreciate but if you're accepting of criticism you will find extreme value in it. This is especially true if you have a high school athlete with next level potential.
Coach Adams is the real deal and has the respect of many college level athletes. My only regret is not finding him sooner. That's okay though, we've got a couple years to go!!!

I had the privilege to work with coach Adams at a private session this past weekend. I was looking for a coach, who could help me increase my speed/strength, and he showed me some things that helped me improve these skills and more. He was very sociable, patient, and encouraging during the session. I really look forward to working with coach Adam soon.

Noelle Schoop, Parent of Parker Schoop (Testimonial)
Augie has been a coach, mentor and trainer these past three years to my 14 year-old son, Parker. Augie signed on with the Santa Monica Vikings three years ago as their offensive coordinator. Almost immediately, there was a noticeable improvement in Parker’s physical and mental game. Augie’s knowledge of the game allows him to recognize the imperceptible nuances in a player’s game and his patience enables him to mold those unrefined gifts into a tangible talent. This level of commitment and care is truly unique in the world of youth football and it is directly accountable for my son’s rise in the game. Although, Augie’s dedication to and love for the game of football sets him apart from other youth football coaches, it is his gift as a motivator that truly elevates him to another level. Augie not only communicates with the kids in a way that demonstrates respect for their hard work and physical output, he refuses to accept lazy, disagreeable, petulant behavior, as he fully understands the infectious nature of negativity amongst the teenage culture. . I know full well that Augie has sacrificed a great amount of money by being incredibly principled in this particular belief. He has graciously trained hard-working and dedicated kids at no cost while gently turning away those that are able to pay for his highly sought-after services but are not committed to work hard. As an invested parent, trying to advocate integrity, accountability, and humility in my teenage athlete, I can honestly say that Coach Augie has been an incredibly thoughtful and inspiring role model. In today’s overindulged culture of youth sports, he is a rare commodity, indeed. Kindest Regards, Noelle Schoop
Derrick DeRoon parent of Eli DeRoon (Testimonial)
Coach Augie's been working with my son Eli for a couple of years now. Having played in a high level college program and beyond, and now coaching at the collegiate level, coach Augie brings a wealth of knowledge and first hand experience to the training field in regards to what it takes to make it next level. He quickly assesses what level an athlete is at, and makes it his goal to take you higher. He has made Eli better in so many ways...speed, footwork, hands, and just overall knowledge of the game. And equally important, he instills the value of what's between your ears. He never hesitates to stress the importance of academics, respect, and attitude, knowing that the combination of these, along with his push for athletic excellence will help achieve your goals. If you bring the passion, and hard work he will capitalize on it and make your athlete better! You will never plateau with Coach Augie, he will always push you harder to find that next gear. The time invested with Coach has payed huge dividends with Eli. He comes highly recommended by me, and we will continue to work with him long into the future!
Owen McKibbin parent of Blaze McKibbin (Testimonial)
Augie has been working with my son, Blaze McKibbin, for 3 years now. Although I am a former professional athlete and a trainer for over 15 years, I trusted Augie's ability to make Blaze and many if his teammates , the best they could possibly be. He has made Blaze and all of his teammates, at least the ones who made the commitment, bigger , faster , and stronger. By having Blaze train consistently with Augie, he inevitably had a huge advantage over other kids who didn't receive Augie's training. Augie has the unique ability to demand respect. , push kids to their limit , motivate them, and get phenomenal results. Blaze draws on these skills Augie has taught him and uses them each and every time he competes. Augie has had a huge impact on Blazes athletic careere. I recommend any parent who has a child that wants a step up on the competition to use Augie CONSISTANTLY. He demands excellence and kids are willing to push themselves farther with Augie as their coach/trainer . Feel free to contact me with any question regarding Augie as a personal trainer/coach and as a model citizen that can point your child in the right direction. Owen McKibbin
