More About Coach Anton
I specialize in working with athletes of all ages, from children 6 years and older to adults. I help children learn to swim from scratch, teaching all the fundamental techniques and strokes—freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly—while also focusing on building strength, endurance, and improving overall swimming technique.
For more advanced swimmers, I work on refining their technique and enhancing their performance in various aspects of swimming. I also coach adult athletes who are preparing for open water swims or triathlons, helping them improve their skills for both race-day success and personal achievement.
In addition to my swimming coaching experience, I am a Level 1 USAT (USA Triathlon) coach and work with Youth Triathlon Team, helping young athletes develop their swimming, cycling, and running abilities. My coaching approach combines technique, strength training, and mental preparation to create well-rounded athletes who are ready to excel in swimming and triathlon.
Whether you're a child learning to swim for the first time, an adult looking to improve your stroke, or an athlete preparing for an open water swim or triathlon, I provide tailored coaching to help you reach your goals.
I have competed in a variety of races across different distances, including triathlons and open water events. Some of my accomplishments include:
Ironman: Completed the Ironman in 9 hours 3 minutes.
Half-Ironman: Completed the Half-Ironman in 4 hours 9 minutes.
Participated in various open water races, which helped me develop essential skills for swimming in real-life conditions.
My experience across different sports and races enables me to take a holistic approach to coaching, sharing valuable knowledge and skills with my athletes.
Each session starts with a warm-up to prepare the body for the workout. Next, we focus on the technical part, working on improving swimming technique. The main set includes various drills to develop strength, endurance, and speed. Finally, the session ends with a cool-down to relax the muscles and prevent injuries.
