More About Coach Alen

Training boxing, MMA and collegiate athletes in a variety of basic strength, HIIT, cardio conditioning and kinetic chain mobility and endurance.

Two decades of experience, amateur competition and local boxing promotions through gyms and state wide athletic entities. USA boxing certified strength and conditioning coach, experience training individuals or group teams/members.

Below is a basic format of course tailored and modified based on clients restrictions, abilities, previous injuries and ambitions.

Warm-Up (10 minutes)

1. Dynamic Stretching - 5 minutes

Arm circles, leg swings, torso twists, and high knees.

2. Cardio Warm-Up - 5 minutes

Jog in place, jumping jacks, or a light row/bike.

Main Workout (40 minutes)

1. Circuit 1: Lower Body Strength (10 minutes)

Goblet Squats (with dumbbell or kettlebell) - 3 sets of 10 reps

Reverse Lunges (bodyweight or light weights) - 3 sets of 10 reps per leg

Rest for 30 seconds between exercises

2. Circuit 2: Upper Body Strength (10 minutes)

Push-Ups (on knees if needed) - 3 sets of 10-12 reps

Bent-Over Dumbbell Rows - 3 sets of 10 reps

Dumbbell Shoulder Press - 3 sets of 10 reps

Rest for 30 seconds between exercises

3. Conditioning Circuit (10 minutes)

Kettlebell Swings - 3 sets of 15 reps

Mountain Climbers - 3 sets of 30 seconds

Battle Ropes or High Knees - 3 sets of 30 seconds

Rest for 30 seconds between exercises

4. Core & Stability (10 minutes)

Plank Hold - 3 sets of 30 seconds

Russian Twists (with or without weight) - 3 sets of 15 reps per side

Bicycle Crunches - 3 sets of 20 reps (10 per side)

Rest for 30 seconds between exercises

Cool Down & Stretching (10 minutes)

Stretch all major muscle groups: quads, hamstrings, calves, chest, shoulders, and back.

Hold each stretch for at least 20-30 seconds.
