More About Coach Adrian
I have dedicated the past 14 years to my career as a strength and conditioning coach, during which I founded Explosive Performance 1, a specialized sports performance training company. My passion lies in training athletes across various age groups, but I particularly concentrate on strength and conditioning programs for high school athletes and older individuals competing in all sports.
At Explosive Performance 1, I design tailored training regimens that focus on enhancing athletic performance, improving strength, increasing endurance, and building agility. My experience allows me to adapt my methods to meet the unique needs of each athlete, ensuring they not only improve their physical capabilities but also develop a deeper understanding of their sport and their own bodies.
As a high school player, I was All-Conference my Jr. and Sr. years, was an All-State RB as a Jr., won a State Title and State Runner-Up, started for the USA Today’s 4th Best team in the Country Sr. year, and rushed for over 1,000 yards in every season. I got a full-ride scholarship to Western Kentucky University and played as a freshman. I finished my collegiate career playing at Indiana State University under my father and long-time Division I Coach Lou West. I earned All-Conference honors in my Jr. and Sr. year and was ranked 40th best RB out of 255 FBS/FBC RBs after my SR. year.
