More About Coach Adam

Currently, I teach High School Phys Ed. I have the great privilege to coach where I teach. I am the head XC, Track & Field Girls Coach.

I use my background as an Exercise Physiologist and my deep understanding of the Pose Method to provide my clients with a scientific-based approach that is safe, fun, and effective. I aim to make my clients stronger and more running injury resistant.

I cater my services to those athletes who are looking to become faster at all distances or sport. I use video analysis to provide my clients with feedback and provide programs so you can maximize your results by working on skills and drills at home.

I earned my MAT in Health and Physical Education program at Montclair State. I currently hold a B.S. in Exercise Science from Bloomsburg University. I have played lacrosse all of my life, from various travel teams to high school and continuing into collegiate club lacrosse. I have successfully run several 5K's during my cross country career, I compete locally at weightlifting competitions. Most recently, I completed a 15km trail run called Quadzilla.

The initial session is carefully crafted and tailored to you, the client. Not only do we spend time figuring out your goals but we will review basic movements such as squats and other various ranges of motion. This allows us to assess the need for specific exercises to improve performance. From there we dive headfirst into video analysis while taking the appropriate actions based on the film. My teaching philosophy is one in which more is learned through the process than achieving perfection. I am able to explain, to show and draw parallels to all topics of the proper running technique allowing you to relate and learn.

Coach Adam was fantastic! My 15yo son wanted to improve his form, agility, and speed for soccer. Coach Adam worked with him over five sessions and incorporated skill based learning to reinforce techniques. He was flexible and open to training for my son’s specific requirements. It was a pleasure meeting with Coach Adam today. I went in with no expectations as this was my first time getting Running assistance. I love running for pleasure but have never been properly trained. The techniques and guidance that Adam provided were beyond helpful. My son had three lessons with Adam to improve his sprinting performance. The taught techniques (Pose Method) allowed him the ability to run more efficiently and reduce the effects of painful shin splints. Adam monitored his race times, attended a couple meets, and provided constructive feedback. We will continue lessons and I would highly recommend Adam.

Coach Adam works very well with my daughter. He is thorough and knowledgeable and my daughter learns a lot during her sessions with him.

I have only had one session with coach Adam and I am definitely looking forward to more. I am in my mid 40's and never had a running coach, didn't know what to expect..... I met with Adam due to reoccurring hip pain and the desire to run faster and more efficient. As a recreational runner, I was impressed by the professionalism I was treated with. He used technology to help me see the body position I was aiming for and used a hands on approach to help me feel it. As we worked through a series of drills, Adam checked to see which I felt comfortable with. If a drill did not feel right after a few attempts, he encouragingly moved onto a drill I was successful with. At the end of the session he left me with a manageable number of drills to practice and checked in shortly after to see how I was doing. Every runner, from elite to amateur, would benefit and improve from a session with Adam. His competitive confidence was balanced with a hands-on caring technique.
