Coaching experience includes 15 years as fitness instructor and five years consistent training of athletes in track and field, soccer, basketball and competitive dance from middle school, high school and beyond. I perform and teach at fitness expos and tailor workshops/clinics for athletes and those looking to expand their fitness experience. Training methods are improved through continued education to bring athletes age-appropriate, technically sound, and progressive training methods to reach their fitness and competitive goals from the inside out. I have served as the athletic director for the Youth Empowerment Program in the city of Wilmington, Head track and field coach at Caravel Academy, an Assistant Coach with Above Expectations Track Club. I maintain current certifications in strength, conditioning, and aquatic training methods and I am a certified meditation specialist and practicing Usui Ryoho Shiki/Holy Fire III Reiki Master offering complimentary methods of physical and mental conditioning, focus, and stress reduction.

My event expertise are in hurdles, sprints, relays, horizontal jumps, mid-distance, recently USATF/NHFS trained in endurance, pole vault and throws. My training strengths are workout development, strength, conditioning, and injury prevention. Sessions consist of warm-up, static and dynamic stretching, agility and balance drills (plyometric drills, skips, bounding, wind sprints, Frankenstein's, etc.), tailored workout, cool down and stretch. My focus is improvement of speed, agility, explosiveness, endurance, improved function of energy systems in the body, mental endurance, and flexibility. I do not train events, I train athletes, so I deal with the person from the level of mind, body, spirit so that the benefits they obtain may be applied to those areas as well.
