Zach is a Performance Trainer in the downtown and greater Chicago-land area. techniques, education and expertise to guide individuals toward their goals, Zach shows an unyielding passion for not only his clients, but the industry as a whole.
Zach graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Health & Human Performance, with an emphasis in Athletic Coaching, from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. He is currently on track to hold a certification through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), as well as his Precision Nutrition 1 certification.
He has over 4 years of coaching, training, and learning under a variety of industry leading trainers & strength coaches. During those years, he was able to work with athletes at the high school, collegiate, and professional levels in a variety of sports. Zach focuses on integrating traditional physical therapy with the proper strength & conditioning methods to ensure the athlete has an individualized program allowing development from the foundation up.
As a member of 4 NCAA National Championship football teams(UW-Whitewater) and one additionally in NJCAA Track and Field, Zach experienced and developed extensive knowledge that proved successful at an elite level of competition in both football and track & field.
Zach was also a 4 year varsity, 2 sport athlete (Football, Track & Field) at Oak Park and River Forest High School, where he earned multiple All-Conference & All-State honors in both sports.
Depending on what phase of your sport's annual plan your in, the workout/program will initially be based off that as well as the athlete's assessment and measurements. All sessions will begin with a warm up protocol that will be based on prepping the body for the work they will be doing that day, as well as improving movements necessary for performance.
Depending on the day, a session is 90 minutes in length and can include:
- Speed, Acceleration & Agility
- Position Specific Energy System Development
- Strength, Power & Explosive Movements
- Performance Therapy
- Position Specific Field/ Skill Work
