More About Coach Zachary
My experience so far has been at the high school level coaching Sprinters and Hurdlers. I have helped coach athletes to qualify for the Ohio High School State Track & Field Meet, and one of my athletes now competes collegiately at the Division 2 level. I have also helped many friends improve running techniques and times from the 5K to the Half Marathon.
I am a 2016 1st Team All-Ohio 300 Meter Hurdler, as well as a member of the 2017 and 2018 Division 2 NCAA Runner-up Ashland Eagles track teams. After college, I took up long distance running where I have been self-coached and continued to improve my times. My PRs are listed below.

From the beginning, I would like to know how an athlete currently trains and what their times are. I want to know what is working for them, and what is not working. Along with what the athletes goals are in their desired event. This way I have a better idea of who I am working with, and can help achieve their personal goals. From there, I would like to focus on running or hurdle form as this is the base of a good runner. Once the athlete is up to speed on the things they need to be focusing on with their form, we can get further into drills and training plans for their desired event and continue to work and modify as needed for the athlete to reach their full potential.
