More About Coach William

I am currently in year three of my coaching/training career, and I have loved every minute of it. Within these three years I have coached youth level, and varsity level football. I am currently the varsity Defensive Coordinator at Encinal High School. I have predominantly worked in the Bay Area more specifically in Berkeley, Piedmont, and Alameda. The kids that I have worked with ages range from 10-18 so I have experience with coaching different age groups. And yes I am CPR certified, Keenan training certified, as well as being NFHS coaching certified.

My highest level of competition I achieved was collegiate, but I didn't play in any games due to unforeseen circumstances. I competed at Alameda High School, and Southern University in Baton Rouge, LA. My most prized honor was being a 2-time captain of my football team because that showed that I had the respect of my teammates and coaches. I also received other honors such as all-league, team mvp, offensive lineman of the year, defensive lineman of the year, and a few more that I can't remember. I also was a 2-sport athlete playing baseball as well so sports has been a huge part of my life.

My session plan is unique to every participants playing level. Initially I will have the client do some drill work to see where they are physically, and to also see where they are from a football intelligence perspective. Once that is figured out I will tailor a plan based on what I know they have to work on, and what they themselves specifically want to work on. With me being a defensive coordinator I focus on all levels of the defense, but in private training my focus is on the front 7(defensive line and linebackers). Lower body explosion, hand usage, pass rush balance, and overall football iq is what will be the focus of the session.

Client Reviews

Hey coach Ro it's Anthony and I would like to say something I forgot to tell you today around the time you picked me up to play D-end I felt out of place on the team and didn't have a role to play but you gave me the opportunity to find my place and aloud me to really enjoy the sport of football without your guidance I don't know if I would've even continued to play football and for that I am forever grateful thank you coach
