More About Coach William
I have coached youth basketball and High school football. I have been working as a basketball trainer since the beginning of 2019. I typically work with age groups from 6-18. I am currently preparing two college freshmen for their first season of men's basketball. I have worked with a girl's varsity basketball player preparing for her junior season. I also work with novices learning the game of basketball.
All-conference in basketball and football during my senior season. Helped lead high school team to Top 10 ranking in New York state. After a successful high school career, I ended up choosing football over basketball in college.
We have multiple layers to our training sessions. Part one consists of speed, conditioning and agility training. Teaching the proper footwork and working on maximizing short area quickness on your respective position as well as functional defensive drills.
We will run competitive shooting drills.
(examples) Shots will be taken from every spot on the floor
1. Catch and Shoot
A. off the curl/ floppy action
B. Secondary break
C. Elevator screens
2. Off the dribble
A. 1 dribble left pull up- 1 dribble right pull up.
B. off the catch inside-out crossover pull up
C. Step back to strong hand/ Weak hand
3. Working on both hands- Dribbling, layup and passing
4. Rebounds to outlet pass and receiving outlet pass
5. Post game to perimeter play. Taking advantage of the mismatch.
We are conditioned to build up basketball players the correct way.

Coach William is very knowledgeable, and is implementing a lot of drills that will help our son at his position. The drills are well thought out, and allow for him to improve with each session. We are pleased so far with what our son is getting out of the training sessions, and have no doubt that they will help him in this upcoming season.
