More About Coach William

Coach Dodd holds 2 degrees, a Bachelors in exercise science, as well as a Masters in health & human performance. He is a certified strength & conditioning coach through the NSCA. He enjoys applying his background and education to further the goals of those around him. Dodd has coached just about all levels (elementary, middle school, high school & college). His primary focus over the past few years has been strength & conditioning and speed & agility for all sports and levels. He has produced 5 All-Americans over the past 5 years.

Coach Dodd has competed in a number of sports/competitions over the years. He developed a keen eye for movement from a young age where he showed promise as a football/track and field athlete. He later committed to UT El Paso (UTEP) focusing his time towards his passion. Track & Field. As a sprinter he contributed to UTEP winning 5 conference championships.

Coach Dodd later found success training for and being on the NBC television show American Ninja Warrior. From there he was invited to compete on the original show in Tokyo, Japan "Sasuke".

All sessions start with some kind of foam rolling/trigger point work to ready the body for the work ahead. The client will then start the movement prep (warm up) where we work on stability/mobility/increase core temperature/waking up the nervous system for the type of training ahead. Clients can expect to work on a number of goals that we set up from day 1. Depending on the session a client could work on a sport movement, balance, explosiveness, etc before going into strength training. We end most sessions with conditioning geared toward a goal or a sport.
