More About Coach Whitney

I have been coaching athletes for over 15 years in endurance sport training including running, swimming, and triathlon. I have coached adult athletes and young adults 1:1 in strength and conditioning through my business Transcend Health & Wellness. I have also coached groups of athletes through clubs and group fitness. I coach endurance athletes to perform their strongest and most powerfully while staying injury free. I utilize a multitude of training methodologies including Transcend Strength, a program that I utilize with endurances athletes that specializes in injury prevention, mobility, and building strength that is specific to endurance sports.

I am a lifetime endurance sport athlete swimming competitively for over 16 years. I swam at Division II University of Indianapolis and am a Hall of Fame Athlete. I have been running for over 12 years personally and have completed 5k-Ultra Marathon distances in my adult running career including the TCS New York City Marathon, a World Major Marathon. I am also a cyclist enjoying riding in the warmer months to enhance training. I am a certified RRCA Running Coach as well as a KettleCamp Kettlebell Coach.

10 minutes of mobility work and dynamic warm up
50 minutes of training in strength and conditioning- this will include strength training in barbell and Kettlebell lifting, building endurance, speed work, education in correct form and practice
10 minutes of cool down stretching and soft tissue massage work with mobility tools
