Several of my athletes continued to compete at the collegiate level (football, basketball, track & field) as well as the professional world class level in track & field and compete in the Olympics. I’ve also had 2 of my High School track athletes win NCAA D-1 Football National Championship and move on to the NFL and win a Super Bowl title (and runner-up).

I began competing in Track & Field at the young age of 11 running for the Ebone Stars Track Club in Canton, OH. By the time I turned 14, I knew that track was something that I wanted to do. My father asked a close friend of his to become my personal coach/training. Walter Henderson (former world class sprinter) didn't just coach me, he became a mentor to me in the sport. My knowledge of Track & Field went to another level.

Throughout my youth years, I've won over 20 races over 100m & 200m. I've also won at least 10 competitions in the Long Jump. I've been apart of several winning 4x100m relay teams all the way through high school. After my freshman year in College at Oral Roberts University, I developed a irregular heartbeat which eventually ended my running career. But because my love for the sport was so strong, I began coaching.

My approach is very simple: Speed, Strength, Transition, Knowledge...Start Smart...Finish Strong! These are some of the key elements to help shape the athlete on the track.

Coach Walter is knowledgeable and attentive to my sons needs. This was my sons first lesson, but he came away with so much information and the "know how" to get better. We are scheduling more sessions with coach Walter!
