More About Coach Tyler
I have been training athletes on the field and in the weight room starting in 2017. From 2017-2018 I worked as strength and conditioning intern for the football team at Texas State University. After completing my internship I moved into personal training for all ages. At the same time I got some experience coaching some high school aged and below kids from the neighborhood. I coached some kids in strength and conditioning, some in sport specific drills on the field, and some in both. Within the last year I moved back to California and currently train clients of all ages in the weight room. I am certified as a personal trainer through ISSA.
Grew up playing football from the age of 8 until I was 22 years old. Played football at Tustin High School in Tustin, CA. Won the CIF championship as a senior. Made the all-county team as a running back my junior and senior year. From high school I went to play football at the Air Force academy for a year and a half. Transferred back to California and played football at Santa Ana College. Finished my career by transferring to Texas State to play football for my last two years of eligibility.
All sessions are designed for the client’s specific goals and needs. Typically most young kids that are in high school and younger are still trying to figure out how to use their bodies. From an athletic standpoint we will work on drills that help with balance, coordination, and body control. From a strength and conditioning standpoint building a solid foundation of strength through the 5 essential movements pushing, pulling, squatting, hinging, and loaded carries.
