More About Coach Travis
I have been coaching for 18 years at the high school level and have many college athletes I help train during the summer. I generally work with high school and college athletes but would be willing to coach youth athletes if requested. I coach all of the jumping events( high jump, long jump, and pole vault) I have coached 45 individual state qualifiers, 18 all state jumpers, 3 state runner ups, and 1 state champion. Coached the 2024 state championship team at fishers high school.
In high school I was a 2 time county, conference, sectional, and regional champion. I placed 9th at state my junior year and 2nd my senior year. In college I was a 2 time conference champion and on a national runner up team at rend lake junior college before transferring to university of Indianapolis. I still hold the Noblesville school record of 14’8” set in 2003.
I am a very technical coach so within a session we will break down the different components of a jump and try to dissect flaws in mechanics and technique to ensure a better execution and understanding of proper form.
