More About Coach Tom

I have been coaching individuals and groups in fitness since 1989. While serving on active duty in the Marine Corps and the U.S. Army, I was responsible for the physical fitness of my subordinates, among other things. Since that time I have taught classes at the local YMCA and independently.

I can often be seen in the early morning hours on my running route. I also love to participate with the students with which I work in PE class at the local high school. In fitness training, I focus on overall fitness, including cardio-vascular fitness as well as strength training to provide a well rounded fitness program.

Work on flexibility is always part of the warm up and cool down in one of my sessions. Depending upon the needs and goals of the client, I will include cardio and strength, varied from session to session. I have been trained in Performance Enhancement, Fitness Assessment and Exercise Prescription. You will receive a well rounded package of fitness training.
