More About Coach Tom
Own and Operate Tom Nelson Training. Training grade school to collegiate athletes. Also coach Quarterbacks at John Hersey High School. Work with all ages from grade school to professional.
Played college football at Illinois State University. Started every game in my career. Freshman of the year and three time all Missouri valley conference. Played in the NFL for six seasons. Made the 2009 Bengals as an undrafted free agent. Played for Bengals, Eagles, Bears, Panthers.
Football specific drills with any positions except O-line. We will do drills that are used during individual period during collegiate and professional practices. Lots of experience in speed and strength. Incorporate drills to increase Linear speed including acceleration and absolute speed. Proper movement patterns, techniques in the weight room and exercises to increase strength to hold the optimal positions better. Share knowledge about nutrition and mobility as well as recovery techniques.
