More About Coach Ting

I'm a 500 RYT and E-RYT 200 certified yoga instructor. In addition, I am also a certified personal trainer (American Council on Exercise) and am certified in anatomy. I received my 200 RYS hour certification in New York City at Yoga to the People where I continue to teach. For my 300 RYS certification, I trained in Rishikesh, India, the origin of yoga.

During my studies in India, I was powerfully moved by their teaching philosophies which sometimes contrasted with the western world. While one is no better than the other, I make sure I take the best of both worlds and incorporate different teaching methods for each individual student or group class.

In addition to yoga philosophy, I also implement knowledge from personal training and anatomy to increase efficiency, effectiveness, and most importantly, the safety of the client.

Yoga has been a part of my life for over 10 years and has helped me form a path to overcome hardships, gain confidence, become true to myself, to love myself, and to fearlessly explore the world. I can't wait to share my yoga love with you.

Life is never a competition with others, but a competition within yourself. I like pushing myself and exploring my limits in many ways. These are the yoga philosophies I often incorporate into my classes.

Aside from yoga, I like a variety of activities such as running, hiking, reading, cooking and surfing. I'm a certified freediver, kitesurfer and scuba diver that have visited more than 29 countries.

Live fearlessly is my attitude in life.

My yoga class is based on the core mission of helping you discover the love within yourself through creative sequencing, a nurturing yet challenging spirit, alternating energy flows, and bits of inspiration. Moreover, all the classes are customized according to your needs and your goals. Before we start our first lesson, we would have a 30 minute free consultation to design a class that would best fulfill your needs.

For a typical class, I usually incorporate pranayama, asana, yoga philosophy from both eastern and western worlds, and personal training for a holistic approach. With my class, I hope you will leave feeling loved, more confident, stronger, flexible, and energized.

Coach Ting is fantastic. She is very knowledgeable and was able to identify my short comings and subsequently able to help me overcome them through yoga. In addition to her yoga and her training knowledge, she is also a very caring person which is what I want in a coach. I highly recommend her.

It was a pleasure learning from Ting. I suffer from fibromyalgia which often times restricts the amount of flexibility I have. Ting made me feel comfortable and confident all while taking time to teach me each move. She has a very calming approach which makes learning very easy.

Coach ting is truly a great yoga guru that I found in New York City ,after trying multiple yoga coaches , she puts her heart and soul in the session, just after first session you feel like a whole new person so light and fresh . Being an Indian and so familiar about yoga I must say she has surprised me too , as she told me she has done intensive training in Rishikesh India that explains her in-depth knowledge , I would highly recommend her and see your body and mind change for good ..

Learning from Ting is one of the best experiences of my life. I first met her at one of her group classes and immediately resonated with her teaching style.
