More About Coach Thomas 365Lax

I have been giving private lacrosse lessons and strength and conditioning training on Long Island for the past since 2005 but officially and full time since the establishment of the lacrosse organization I founded and currently operate known as 365Lax - I coach kids as young in grades K-12th plus collegiate athletes. From playing both midfield and then attack throughout my youth career where I earned high school All-American honors after helping lead the team to the Nassau County Finals, being selected to the high school All-Star Team and setting a Bethpage High School record with the most goals in a game (8), followed by a 4 year Division I Collegiate Lacrosse career & 2 years of Professional Lacrosse in both professional lacrosse leagues; the Major League Lacrosse (MLL) & the National Lacrosse League (NLL). I specialize in training offensive players so midfielders & attackmen but I also train Defenseman & Goalies..My specialty is utilizing my knowledge of the game by implementing the following list of areas that would make ar 'complete' player (agilities, eye-hand coordination, stick/hand speed, ball control and endurance) with running drills that (i) coaches neglect to do at their practices but expect the players to know either to be good at or to learn on the flyer, (ii) making sure that the drills I run are created with hours of intellectual thinking that is outside the box where (iii) the client gets challenged and focuses on their individual development (something town, high schools, & travel teams) from the drills that were designed from collaborating with other former collegiate & professionals that we are learned from a variety of some of the best coaches & from ideas we thought of the we thought of that we know would have helped us to master our skills, fundamentals, vision and other vital elements that will master your craft .

Each individual lesson is unique as it is tailored on the merit & goals of each athlete and every lesson progressively gets more challenging as long as after each lessons assessment, improvement and progress was shown. .

The drills I carry out are from what I learned during my playing days, specifically during "individuals" in college which is performed after Fall Ball with 1-3 players of the same position and also with the opposing positions to work on all of the individual position specific drills. The other drills I perform were accrued during training camps while playing professionally and from some of the pioneers of the game who I had a chance to work with such as John Gagliardi, Kyle Sweeney, Johnny Christmas, Sean Lindsay and many more other professional players.

The lessons include a lot of repetitions but include drills that no parent or novice would ever think of and requires professional advice and a professionals assessment to point out the little things (flaws. weaknesses) noticed that will get you to the next level once they get kmproved.

Private Lessons is something that every player should receive no matter how much lacroase you play on Teams as everyone can improve.....Look at Tiger Woods and other great athletes, tbey all have a coach to continuously and tirelessly work hard to get better.
