More About Coach Thomas
I have been giving private sessions in Strenght and Conditioning in Springfield for the past two years. I base my coaching principles off of the "technique and form before weight," principle, which I have found most useful and rewarding in my life.
I enjoy working with people all ages and levels, but I especially enjoy the challenge of coaching older people and helping them get back in shape or improve their abilities past what they believe they can achieve. My specialties include mobility, stamina, balance and strength. I focus on teaching the correct and proper range of motion within the joints in order to allow the exercise to produce the best results.
I begin all my sessions with a dynamic warm up, followed by skill development, conditioning and then the workout focused on correct form with proper stimuli. When my athlete is ready I will introduce them to a small circuit that will test their abilities that have learned in the previous weeks, showing them that they can improve no matter their age.
