Hello! I'm Theo and I collaborate with runners of various skill levels to assist them in achieving their goals—whether they're preparing for their initial 5K race, marathon, or even aspiring to conquer an ultra-marathon. My services include creating a personalized training plan, considering factors such as your running and injury history, time availability, and life constraints. Additionally, I offer advice on supplementary strength training and cover crucial aspects like race day fueling and the mental approach needed to excel on race day.
I was a semi-professional soccer player and ran my first marathon in 2000. Since then, I have completed hundreds of races, including the Boston Marathon and the Western States 100-Mile Endurance Run.
I offer the following services for runners:
1. Personalized Training Plan: I will create and maintain a personalized training plan taking into account your running and racing goals, time constraints, and injury history.
2. Running Form and Gait Analysis: Numerous runners grapple with suboptimal and inefficient running form. As part of my expertise and services, I offer a thorough evaluation of your running form and will offer advice along with drills to rectify any inefficiencies
3. Training and Race Day Nutrition consulting: For events surpassing 90 minutes, it becomes crucial to intake calories to replenish the rapidly depleting glycogen stores. I learned this lesson through challenges in my early marathons, and in recent years, several companies have emerged to tackle this specific issue. Having experimented with nearly every type of endurance gel, powder, and bar, I can offer a variety of insightful information. This ensures my athletes can perform optimally on race day and steer clear of the dreaded bonk during the later stages of a race or training run.
4. Supplemental Strength Training: Structured strength training is vital for runners of all ages to mitigate the risk of injuries and improve performance. I offer guidance on integrating a variety of upper and lower-body strength training exercises to ensure a well-balanced physique
