More About Coach Terrence
I have 9 years of experience with coaching/training. I have coached athletes from youth to D1 collegiate athletes. I also have experience working with adults. I have worked for a couple of training companies/studios. I have also worked as a S&C coach at Towson University. I typically work with high school athletes, but am not limited to high school athletes due to wide range of experience. I currently have ACE personal training certification, while working on a few others.
hrough my experiences as a high school athlete and college football player, I became passionate about strength and conditioning and helping others improve their athletic performance. After my playing days were over, I knew that coaching and training was my true calling.
I have always been drawn to the science behind sports performance and how proper training can help athletes reach their full potential. I love working with athletes of all levels and helping them improve their strength, speed, and overall fitness.
My background in track and football has given me a well-rounded understanding of sports performance, and I am able to tailor training programs to fit the specific needs of each individual athlete.
I am proud to say that I have helped numerous athletes reach their goals and achieve success both on and off the field. I believe that sports can teach valuable life lessons and instill discipline, hard work, and determination in athletes.
I am grateful for the opportunity to pursue my passion for coaching and training, and I look forward to continuing to help athletes unlock their full potential.
In a typical session with me, you will see a huge emphasis placed on plyometrics and joint strength for overall explosion and injury prevention. I also will focus on speed and agility from a technical standpoint, the key here is to develop efficient athletes, not just fast ones. Last but certainly not least, I prioritize core strength to combat balance, stability, and coordination issues that an individual may have. That is huge for general population, and athletes.
