Worked with UCLA's Athletic Performance Program; including direct work with Baseball, Women's Sand Volleyball, Men's Volleyball, Crew, and indirectly with several other sports programs. I have worked and studied under long time Strength Coach and first women's strength coach in the NFL, Lee Brandon. Further intern experience under arguably the best strength and conditioning coach in the world, Charles Poliquin and previous Olympic track runner, Dean Lang. Also currently train several athletes at Velocity Sports Performance in West LA. I hold a specialist certification in performance training of rotational athletes, which allows me to help hone skills needed for baseball, golf, tennis, hockey and more. I have helped multiple athletes ranging from 6 years old to professional athletes; including a 10 year old who began working with me ranked at 170+ in his age group in Southern California in tennis, to 43rd within 6 months. Previous experience coaching 2016 Pomona Pitzer Volleyball Newcomber of the Year. Coached multiple Major League Baseball veteran and minor league players. Multiple profession, collegiate and high school hockey athletes, both male and female.

I played baseball through high school as well as briefly played collegiate baseball with Glendale Community College. I was invited to play for one of the best club baseball teams in the nation at UC Santa Barbara. I ran track at Glendale Community College, participating in the 1,500 and 3,000 meter events.

I run my program dependent upon the particular sport or sports that the individual participates in. I begin by implementing a proper warmup I design based on the needs of the sport, athlete and movements involved in this particular day's training session. Following the warmup, I run important movement drills specific to the sports that athlete participates in. I then implement strength work that assists in promoting safety and injury prevention on the field of play, as well as helps achieve other particular goals, such as speed, jumping height, and ability to overpower opponents. I have learned the best assessments from amazing coaches and use these to ensure optimum performance with minimized risk of injury through strength training, proper stretching and muscular myofascial release techniques.

Client Reviews

In 4 months I lost approximately 16 pounds on the scale, roughly 3 inches around my stomach, grew an inch on my arms and gained a boost of confidence. I started training with Ted when jogging and dieting on my own was starting to plateau. First we were meeting 3 times a week, but I wanted results faster, and now we meet Monday through Friday. I look forward to working out because Ted makes working out fun: the routines are generally different everyday, engaging, challenging, and he has a variety of equipment to mix it all up. Ted is also a great guy, he is easy to get along with, encouraging, knowledgeable about his field, and also good to look at! I have made so much progress in 4 months. I'm lifting a lot of weight, which is a big deal because I had never lifted weights before. I can run a mile in under 6 minutes; this is especially notable for me because as an avid jogger I could never run a mile under 10 minutes. There were exercises I could not perform the first week that I blow through now. My body is slowly evolving; I have received compliments on my calves, my chest is showing definition, and my arms are looking good enough I feel confident wearing sleeveless shirts. I have met my original fitness goals, and in the meantime Ted and I have come up with new ones. I'm very happy with my results and look forward to what Ted has planned for me.
