More About Coach Taylor
Throughout my collegiate and highschool career, every program I participated in would host 1-2 training camps a year. Outside of that, I have trained a few athletes between the ages of 12-16 during their summer or winter breaks. This would include either running alongside them as support/motivation, help administrate any workouts they’ve been given by coaches from their programs, and even developing custom workout/aerobic run plans based on their goals and current mileage.
I started my running career as a sophomore in highschool and fell in love with it. That led me to running at a DII program for 4-years where I earned 4 All-Conference Honors and 6 Scholar-Athlete Honors. From there, I transferred to a DI program and ran for 2 additional years in graduate school.
This can vary widely based on age/goals. It can be as simple as proper warmups with dynamic stretches and drills, and from there a simple shakeout run with a proper cool-down. It can also be more personalized to warming up and curating workouts (ex. 6 x 400m repeats with 1 minute rest in-between at their 1-mile goal race pace) with a cool down and stretching. Im also happy to run along with them when I can/if the client wants me to, since it can make a big impact when it comes to pacing/motivation.
