More About Coach Taylor

With over five years of experience in the field, I have coached a wide range of athletes—from beginner middle school students to elite-level professionals. My background spans both the private and collegiate sectors, allowing me to work with diverse athletic populations across various sports. This broad exposure has equipped me with the experience needed to tailor training to meet the unique physical needs of each athlete, regardless of age, sport, or skill level.

As a lifelong multi-sport athlete, I competed in swimming and track and field for 12 years and played field hockey for over 15 years, including at the NCAA Division II level with Lindenwood University. These experiences have deeply shaped my coaching philosophy and allow me to connect with athletes on a meaningful level—understanding their challenges, motives, and goals from firsthand experience.

My coaching philosophy is built on three core principles: build from the ground up, fill buckets, and tailor training to the athlete. Athletes will first master the basics of movement to establish a strong foundation for long-term progress. Then, target their specific areas of need using purposeful, age-appropriate, and sport-specific programming.
