More About Coach Taylor
I am currently an arena football quarterback and a varsity QB and RB coach. I played college football at College of the Sequoias (Junior College), and New Mexico Highlands University (Division 2). After college I played for a developmental league team the SoCal Coyotes (LCFL) in Palm Springs, CA. From there I started my professional career in 2014 with the Erie Explosion in Erie, PA of the Continental Indoor Football League (CIFL). We won a championship my rookie season. My second season (2015) I originally started the year with the Billings Wolves in Billings, MT of the Indoor Football League (IFL) and was the first starting quarterback in franchise history but unfortunately was released due to injury after spending five games with them. A few days after being released I signed with the Duke City Gladiators in Albuquerque, NM of the Champions Indoor Football (CIF). After four games with them I made my way back to the IFL and spent 7 games with the Iowa Barnstormers in Des Moines, IA. Iowa was the place that sparked my professional career as I went on to throw 20 Touchdowns. I played my third season (2016) with the Duke City Gladiators of the CIF and threw 20 Touchdowns in 4 starts. My fourth season I was the starting quarterback for the Sioux City Bandits (2017) of the CIF located in Sioux City, Ia. We finished the season 10-4 and lost in the semifinals. I recorded 32 Touchdowns in 14 starts. I am currently signed with the Texas Revolution of the CIF for the 2018 season. My first coaching opportunity started caching camps and combines searching for the top 100 California High School football players to put into an all star game called the Cal State Game. I worked for them for two years as a scout, recruiter, and coach. I had the opportunity to coach the game both years and learned from some of top level coaches in California. Through this organization, I have been able to meet and work with many professional players and coaches who have mentored me throughout this whole experience. I am currently in my fourth year of varsity coaching at Clovis West High School in Fresno, CA serving I as the QB and RB coach. I have a lot to offer to student-athletes, because I have been through the experiences that they are going through and I understand how to help them do the correct things moving forward. Sessions with me always start from the ground up, meaning I focus on a players footwork before we even get into throwing mechanics. I also do sessions off the field to teach football IQ to athletes, because having advanced knowledge of the game makes your physical skills even more valuable. I am high tempo and very enthusiastic towards athletes that I work with, and I am always challenging them to not just be a good player but to challenge them to be the best they can possibly be. Feel free to contact me and book your sessions as soon as you’re ready. If you are looking for a coach to work with RB, WR, and TE feel free to contact me as well. Have a blessed day and I look forward to working with you!

I like to start with teaching a quarterbacks base. The base is the foundation of playing quarterback. After we find a comfortable base, then we move into our pass and run footwork. Once we get the base and footwork taught, then we will start on throwing mechanics and other drills that simulate game time scenarios. I'm a firm believer that anything that I teach needs to be worked on outside of our training as well.
