I teach yoga, breathing techniques (pranayam) and meditation/relaxation to kids ages 7 -90 years old. I specialize in Ashtang/Hatha yoga and I have trained yoga teachers for the same. I have taught athletes breathing techniques. I have been teaching all of the above for the last 15 years. I specialize in 8 breathing techniques called Pranayam which can help improve the focus and reflexes, above and beyond yoga benefits. Over the years many kids and adults have benefitted from yoga, pranayam and meditation taught by me. Old reviews are on the website. New ones are on google. Athletes from different sports come to me either for yoga stretching or for breath work.
I have been certified by QCI- (now YCB) of India, which is one of the toughest exams (a written and practical exam) unlike other certifications like YA. There are no standardized certifications for yoga yet by the USA govt. One can check the reviews on the www.TanviYoga.com

For Yoga session, I observe the posture of the client, correct it verbally if needed. If needed I adjust the client after parents/clinets permission. If the client wants to stretch a particular part of the body, We work on the yoga poses specific to stretching and strengthening them. I also observe the breathing of the client and suggest what is needed. We end with relaxation pose. I demonstrate the each and every pose and give verbal instructions to perform the pose.
