More About Coach Tanekka
I have been coaching for two years now. I've coached middle school to high school sprinters and hurdlers. Worked at a private school in Boca Raton, FL and currently working at Coral Springs Charter School. I worked with kids who have never ran track and made them enjoy the life as a track athlete.
I help the Palm Beach County record in 300 meter hurdles from 2007-2014. I went to Claflin University, where I have both hurdle records. I am an All-American Athlete in 2012 and my universities First Female All-American Athlete. I will be inducted in the Hall of Fame at my school.
Clients can expect in my session they ability to feel comfortable with the practice. Track is a mental sport and you have to have the mindset that you can do it. I work on strengthen muscles, building speed, and other drills. Nutrition is important and will learn what to drink and eat to stay hydrated at all time.
