Client Reviews

Coach Stan was a great coach! His training and techniques are like none I've had before. Looking forward to the next classes. I would recommend Coach Stan to anyone.

I'm really digging Coach Stan! He knows his craft and he's enthusiastic about passing on that knowledge to up and coming young athletes. I know my son Benjamin can really benefit from his pro training. First session was tough from the get-go, mostly to assess where Ben is at the moment skill-wise. He ran through various drills for dribbling, layups, free throws, defensive posture and positioning, the Mikan drill, and the best stretching routine before any workout to remain limber and prevent injuries. Yes, also hydration was important as my son found out today! Overall we're very happy with how first session went and how easygoing of an instructor Stan is and will definitely book him again.

Very solid training I have ever received!

Coach Stan was an absolute pleasure to work with. He was professional, outgoing, and friendly. He immediately put my son at ease and made him feel comfortable. He gave him a lot of information in just our first session and even wrote down some notes for my son to take home and use to practice on his own. I appreciated that Coach Stan talked to me about what he saw as my sons strengths and weaknesses and the things he can do at home to improve. He is extremely knowledgeable and you can tell that he really takes a personal interest in his athletes! He even asked us to follow up and let him know how my son does in his next game! I would highly recommend Coach Stan and can’t wait to work with him again.

Play basketball is not hard, however, move to next level is the other, Coach Stan is very patient, professional in training, and basketball knowledge wise, he is seeing me thoroughly in every details and giving exact what I need based on my strength and weakness, encourage me to build up my game confidence, this is definitely not something any one can get from group coaching lesson or tons of video online, how I wish I could meet him 10 years ago but, I think it's still not too late to continue my basketball journey with coach Stan

Coach Stan is a great coach. We searched for a coach who was the right fit. Stan is it. His physical size and strength creates a realistic and challenging game situation when training. This is perfect for preparing to play against opponents of similar size. He is knowledgeable and thorough. We would highly recommend Coach Stan.

My son had his first session with Coach Stan today. We both agreed that we found the right coach to take his game to the next level and I would highly recommend him.

The shooting drills I did with Stan were very similar to in-game experiences and I was able to improve my shot consistency and my range from repetitive reps and multiple shots with the heavy ball. I was also able to improve my conditioning with intended full court drills and my individual scoring skills with competitive games of one on one at the end of every workout.
I always look forward to my training sessions with Stan. He has a keen eye for all the details that allows you to improve your health and fitness goals efficiently. He is very passionate about training and cognizant of his clients well being and progress. He has a very diverse repertoire of exercises that always keeps the sessions interesting. I highly recommend Stan to any athletes that are serious about training Wayne Gordon, recreational baller
Practice makes perfect is wrong. Proper practice and training makes perfect is right. I'm 33 and probably the most competitive guy I know. I regularly play with former division 1 players and current overseas professionals... After Stan's workouts I'm 10 years younger. The shooting routine is insane, but a couple days afterwards I'm dominating the young guys. The push-up and stretch routines have me feeling stronger and keep me feeling loose and injury-free. Working out with Stan has been pivotal in my candidacy for rec league MVP. Olumide Akingbemi M.D.
Stan Divranos communicates very efficiently and effectively as a personal trainer. The work-outs he designed specifically for me have given me the most results I’ve had in a 1 month time frame ever. The work-outs themselves don’t require weights, and only require me to dedicate 10 minutes of my day. This has allowed me to maintain the type of continuity that I enjoyed when I played basketball at Division 1 level in college.
Stan has always been a great motivator. He really makes you believe. He changed my life years ago by giving me the knowledge of how I can change my life. He gave me a push up routine that changed my physical appearance. What I realized later was it wasn't so much the push ups that had changed me but Stan's words. He made me believe in myself and it gave me the motivation to always challenge myself to not only be better physically but emotionally and mentally. Total life changing
Stan helped me initially to lose some weight and put on some muscle mass. From there, my confidence increased to such a level that Stan trained me to get to the next level of fitness. I competed in Men’s Physique with the WBFF in Toronto and then onto two years of competing in the Olympia weekend! His level of knowledge, professionalism and ability to motivate me was the key to my success. Thanks Stan!
I have had the pleasure of knowing Stan for almost 15 years. During that time he has been a teammate, friend and trainer and excelled in all three areas, but especially as a trainer. Training with Stan will bring out the best in you, he works hard to develop a fitness program that builds a stronger and healthier version of you and works with you if you have any physical limitations such as a bad back. He is relentlessly positive, pushes you without being pushy and is always finding ways to mix things up so you do not get into a set routine. To this day I still rely on Stan's advice when it comes to training and with his help have lost over 100 lbs and am now building a stronger me. -- Mark Gottschalk
As a true athlete and coach, Stan, understands what it takes to reach goals and stay successful. When I was training for the Olympics he found creative ways outside of the pool to prepare my body and mind for the highest level of competition. He focuses on nutrition, recovery, and training. Maintaining a regime that is sustainable changes ones lifestyle. Genai Kerr USA Water Polo Olympian
Stan Divranos is by far the best trainer that I have worked with. I had the opportunity to train with Stan for nearly 6 months in preparation for the 2002 NBA draft. With Stan's help I gained 20lbs of muscle by following an intense training regimen and diet manipulation. I was also able to increase my speed and quickness with plyometrics. Stan's workouts include a lot of different basketball drills that are intense, fun, and fast paced. Highly recommend if you are serious about improvement.
Four years ago when my son Adam was an Eight grader on his way to high school, we were blessed to meet Stan Divranos at a Gym in the area. At the time I was not looking for some one to work with my son but I did recognize that Adam needed more than I could give him. Stan offered his services and immediately began skills training, Ball handling, shooting, defense, strength, conditioning, nutrition, IQ and position training. He worked with Adam facing the basket and with his back to the basket. Because of his size and strength he removed the intimidation of guarding and being guarded by players bigger than Adam. He taught him how to leverage his body against bigger stronger players. Stan took a personal interest in Adam and our family. Adam is now a senior and is a key player at his high school. He will definitely go to a high major division one college and owes a lot of his developement to Stan. I would highly recommend that players at every stage of developement from junior high to pro utilize Stans training. He is now, not only our personal trainer he is our family.
