More About Coach Scott

I have been conducting individual training sessions for basketball players for about 15 years. Before I began individual training, I coached teams at professional level, collegiate level and high school level. I have learned from some of the best coaches in the game while working in numerous camps and attending coaching clinics. My success ranges from players breaking in at the pro level to players making the 9th grade team after being cut in the 6th, 7th, 8th grade.

I have built my reputation as a shooting coach and teach sound offensive footwork that produces explosive moves to the basket. I have extensive experience training for speed and quickness. I train players to eliminate unnecessary movement resulting in a quicker athlete on offense and defense.

I have trained players that played professionally. As a coach, I coached one state championship team, one state finalist and one state semifinalist. My team won the State Team Free Throw Contest in Texas and two other teams finished in the top three. As a player, I played on a high school state semi-finalist team.

A typical session with me will first focus on shooting form, which is what I teach best. We will begin with foundational shooting drills and then move to drills that train a player to move without the ball, get open and become a true triple threat. Any conditioning drills will be done with a ball or in the context of the sport (no just running for the sake of the running).

Coach Scott was AWESOME! My son didn't want to go at first but after his session with Coach Scott he is geared and ready for his remaining sessions and wants more! Coach Scott had Jordan doing great after only the first session I was impressed. He improved 110% from where he was. Coach is knowledgeable, patient, and did I say patient! This guy knows his stuff and it shows. The proofs in the pudding! We are excited upon meeting him and so ready to continue working with him. I know Jordan will excel with Coach Scott's teaching him fundamentals and that extra Jordan will need in his basketball future! I can say so much more about Coach Scott but I don't want to write a book about it...Just know that if your child needs a great coach then Coach Scott is your guy! Wish he was Jordan's regular coach!

Coach Scott did a great job with my son on their first session. Coach's non-aggressive approach to training was a breath of fresh air. My son looks forward to their next session. If you are looking for a coach that has a passion for the sport, along with the knowledge, and patience with kids, combined with a good sense of humor, I highly recommend Coach Scott.

Coach Scott is excellent! We are quite pleased with his mentorship and teaching methodology. His assessments are spot on and he introduces new concepts and techniques in a clear and nurturing fashion. We are most grateful for the opportunity to work with Coach Scott and look forward to our next series of lessons.

My son said he felt like he learned more in one session with Coach Scott than he did at a whole week at basketball camp!!

Coach G is a great coach! He's an Elite shooting coach, very helpful, very knowledgeable, and cares about the growth of the athlete.

Coach Scott is an incredibly gifted coach. His ability to assess and teach the intricacies of basketball to my son has been outstanding. I would recommend Coach Scott to any parent or player no matter the level. Coach Scott is able to teach the beginner as well as the experienced ball player. Under his tutelage my son, a starter on a very competitive sixth grade feeder team, has improved tremendously.

Coach Scott was great to work with right from the start. Presented straight forward fundamental skills that will help to have an immediate impact on my son's game. Looking forward to working with him again.

Coach Scott was excellent from the first step. My son is just starting out in basketball and as a parent, I would like him to develop in a comfortable and no pressure environment -just play with the ball and see if he likes it! Coach Scott is great at keeping things light and fun. I look forward to working with him in the future and my son said he had a great time and wants to 'play' with coach Scott. It's a win!

Coach Scott did an awesome job with my son on our first session. I can't wait to continue the training with him. My son learned so much. Thank You Coach!

Great Teacher/Coach ! I noticed change in my son's form in the first session!! Excellence is implied in his style of coaching!

My 7th grade son has really benefited from working with Scott on basketball fundamentals. The tips and techniques that Scott shared have improved his confidence. We really appreciated his explanations of how each drill maps to game situations and we are excited to see his improvement going into this years rec league season.

I am very pleased with the training Coach Scott has been doing with my high school son. I can see improvements already in his shot and timing. We are looking foward to continue to train with Coach Scott to be prepared for winter bb season.

Coach Scott is great! My son has learned so much from him. He has tried out for the basketball team every year since 6th grade and has never made the school team. Finally, after 2mos with Coach Scott, he has made the high school 9th grade team. Words can't express how grateful we are! I highly recommend Coach Scott if you are serious and want to take your game to the next level. He pays attention to detail and stresses fundamentals. Excellent guy!!!

Coach Galloway’s teaching, I received as a college player, gave me a consistent shooting form, one that has allowed me to play beyond college—in the European leagues. The system gave me the ability to recognize when my form was incorrect and then correct it.
Coach Galloway is an amazing teacher and instructor. His knowledge and expertise in player development, especially shooting, helped me maximize my talents and abilities at both the collegiate and professional level. Through his teaching I became a much more accurate shooter and a more productive all around player.
