More About Coach Sam
I have been coaching for 11 years and I have been training athletes for two years. I have coached at the youth level for 11 years and I have been coaching at the high school level for three years. I started my own business two years ago training athletes. I was at Cuyahoga Falls high school as an assistant coach and now I am at Orange high school as the running backs coach. I work with the ages from 6 and up. I have my personal trainers certification.
I have been playing organized football since I was ten years old. I have won championship trophies and three mvp trophies. I have also done the NFL Regional Combine and have had a CFL tryout. I have played semi pro football for six years in the Cleveland Ohio area and have won a championship.
I will do an evaluation of the client to see where they are at with their skills, speed, agility, endurance etc. I focus on speed, acceleration and agility as well as individual positions on their techniques. I want to help my clients to be the best in their position.
I will first put the client through some stretches to loosen up the muscles and so that a client won't get hurt. Than I will start off with some warm up drills to do, usually I start with footwork first and than do a few running drills for speed, acceleration or agility and than after they are warmed up I will start focusing on more speed and acceleration drills.
