Ever wonder what a standard session looks like at Connors Martial Arts Academy?
We usually keep things moving with 7 rounds of 5-minute live drills. There is no passive drilling here—you will work directly with a partner utilizing realistic resistance to build actual, applicable skills.
We break down our rounds into three specific phases of grappling: standing (takedowns), guarded (passing and retention), and pinning (escapes and control). To bring it all together, we always end by playing the full game, combining every position into a complete live roll.
We wrap up every session with open training time to answer your questions or refine techniques.
Booking a private? You can dive straight into 1-on-1 work with me, or you are always welcome to bring a friend along to share the mat space. DM me to reserve your next spot!

Client Reviews
Paul P. (Testimonial)
If you are looking to make big improvements in your jiu jitsu fast, I recommend getting private lessons on top of your traditional training. Space is limited because your coach is literally donating their body, mind, and time to your game. I get one, once a week with Rory Connors, he is easily one of the most technical practitioners and coaches in New England - beyond. Every time my progress jumps a week or more. I highly recommend it. You will improve and gain confidence in your game. I know I do.
