More About Coach Ron
As a former college and professional athlete; strength and conditioning is an essential part of training. While playing professionally I began my own weight lifting routine. That include building muscle mass, retaining flexibility and becoming stronger. In the professional arena you have to be in the best shape you can. I wanted to keep myself in shape and ready for that next big opportunity;I accomplished that with speed, conditioning and agility workouts.
What has been so successful for me, bring to you. I offer this as an additional service for $30 an hour. It is best to include this service as it works in conjuction with the basketball training to get you into game shape. If you are interested in strength and conditioning please book sessions with the Coachup website. Thank you
As a college athlete I had resources that were not available to everyone. From techniques, facilities, trainers and programs. As a college athlete you have it all at your disposal. When you play professionally you have to higher your own trainers or learn to do it yourself. I improved my strength, conditioning, speed and agility myself.
I studied college programs, professional programs and created my own way of doing things. Concentrating on core strength and not bulk. Keeping in mind flexibility and agility. The game of basketball has changed, it is going back to how it was in the 80's and early 90's. Where players like Kevin Durant, Athony Davis, Chris Paul, Kyrie Irving, Jrue Holiday,Kevin Garnett, and Javail McGhee condition their bodies for endurance and core strength. Basketball players have taken a page from football trainers who work out skill players; receivers, runningbacks, quarterbacks, cornerbacks and safeties. Where you want strength but also agility, flexibility and endurance.
