More About Coach Rodrick

I was the Head Strength and Conditioning Trainer at Competitive Edge Sports in Monroe, Louisiana in 2009 where we trained ages from 8-21 in speed, strength and agility. Currently i'm the Galveston Ball High Tornados Defensive-Line coach for the Varsity, and the Assistant Track coach for the Varsity. Currently I am the Madison High school Defensive Coach and Strength and Conditioning coach. The past 8 years of coaching varsity football I have personally helped put 8 guys reach there goal of a D1 scholarship from different top University's across our beloved nation!

While playing for the Golden Tornados (2000-2004), I earned All-State First-Team honors, 24-5A First-Team All-District, Texas Top 100, 24-5A District Defensive Player of the year (2004). After completion of a successful high school career I was awarded a full Scholarship to Oklahoma State University where I started 3 years at middle linebacker. While at Oklahoma State I was the third leading tackle three out of my four years with the Cowboys (couldn't crack #1).

Sessions are based on skill level, so our beginning session would be basic simple technique specific drill such as, ladders, bags, and cone drills. We will focus on high intensensity drill that not only works your skill, but also conditions the muscles and the body. Get ready for change of direction drills for balance and quickness, such as shuttle drills and 3 cone drills and star drill. Resistant bands and weighted vest could be used pending on age level. High motor is necessary for work out, must be prepared to get better and work hard.
