7+ years experience as an AAU basketball coach with the North Bay Basketball Academy (Current).

2 years experience as a Babe Ruth Baseball Coach.

18+ years as a private basketball and baseball skill development coach.

Current Strength and Conditioning coach at San Domenico High School.

Over 16 years experience as a personal trainer and strength/conditioning coach.

I am currently certified through the National Strength & Conditioning Association (Personal Trainer), the International Youth Conditioning Association (Youth Fitness Specialist) and I am a Training for Warriors Level 1 Instructor.

U.S. Navy and U.S. Army National Scholar Athlete of the Year. I also enjoyed playing college intramural basketball and football at UC Davis.

Developing the total athlete involves a careful balance and combination of strength and power development, speed training and skill development. Limitations in any of these areas can prevent the athlete from reaching their full athletic potential.

In order to properly develop and implement the right programming for my clients, I begin with a complete Sports Injury and Functional Performance test for each athlete. Establishing a baseline to screen and evaluate movement is key to providing each athlete with a unique and effective action plan.

I focus on the foundation of athleticism and improved performance.
- Teach young athletes proper running technique from the start.
- Develop athletic coordination and improve relative strength.
- Properly introduce new athletic movement patterns found in their sport.
- Create greater mobility and flexibility to decrease the chance of injury.
- Establish a foundation of athleticism.

A typical strength and conditioning session includes:
- Dynamic Warm-up
- Running (first step quickness, top speed and acceleration), Jumping (power) and Landing (deceleration) training.
- Speed & Agility Training
- Appropriate strength training (aged-based)
- Flexibility Training

A typical basketball or baseball skill development session incorporates the above components into the workout to provide a highly effective and extremely efficient training experience. I can help with all skill development needs from offense to defense, (Basketball - shooting, rebounding, passing, dribbling, etc.) (Baseball - throwing and catching while specializing in outfield play and pitching)
