More About Coach Renata
I have been coaching since I was 16. Last 5 years I was mostly coaching in Prague Czech Republic in international swimming club and also teaching and coaching international privat clients from all over the world. I am very experienced coach and I believe that anybody can learn how to swim and become a confident swimmer and also competitive swimmer.
Focus points might be different depending on age, swimming skills and desired goals:
1, basic swimming skills such as breathing, gliding, diving, kicking and other basics you need for learning swimming styles
2, basic training of individual swimming styles (front stroke-freestyle, backstroke, breastroke)
3, advanced training of individual swimming styles (freestyle, breastroke, backstroke and butterfly) plus basic fitness condition
4, improving of fitness condition with techniques elements
I have been swimming on national level since I was 10. I graduated Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic 2 years ago, M.A. in physical education and sports science. I was distinguished as 1 of 15 Swim Instructors to receive the First Class Swimming Coach Certificate from the Czech Swimming Association of Czech Republic. In a span of 9 years I have instructed over 240 students ages 5 to 58 in basic swimming skills, proper swimming techniques and swimming fitness training. I have 4 years experience as a private swimming teacher. I am knowledgable of the coaching process (planning, conducting and evaluating).
The first session is all about getting to know each other, evaluating your skills and setting goals.
Regular session will start with warm up (dry land, in the water) following with technique exercises and depending on you I decide whether to do fitness swimming or stick with technique. At the end of the session I like to do light stretching. I love to tailor session individually which means that the session will suit you and only you ( I consider your fitness level, your swimming skills, desired goals and your personality to make swimming easy and enjoyable for you). Anything is possible now just lets jump in and start!
