More About Coach Rebecca
I was the head coach of Salem Track Club (Salem, OR) for three years and the assistant head coach of Emerald Valley Track Club(Eugene, OR) for three years. I coached two years at Lane Community College (Eugene, OR). At Lane Community college I Coached 6 school record holders, 61 NWAACC All Americans, and 24 NWAACC champions and assisted in overall structure of program resulting in winning four team championships, which was the first time in 18 years for LCC. I have recently moved across the country to Bethlehem, PA to continue my coaching career at Moravian College.
I am also USATF level 1 Track and Field Certified and USATF level 2 certified.
Track is a huge part of my life and something that I am very passionate about. I enjoy coaching track almost as much as I like competing. I have participated in track for eleven years and I have coached track for eight years. I started track in the 8th grade and participated in the Junior Olympic nationals my first year in the sport and placing 9th in the long jump at nationals. I continued to learn and grow in the sport placing 4th my sophomore year at the Junior Olympic nationals. During my high school career I obtained 14 individual district titles, four team district titles, and five individual state titles. I won the long jump in 2006, the long jump and the triple jump 2007, and the long jump and the hurdles in 2008.
I then continued my career at the University of Oregon and feel honored to have been part of such a talented team. I learned so much from my coach and teammates. I was a Pac-10 scorer in the long jump in 2010 and 2012, also a regional qualifier in the long jump and the 100 meter hurdles. I am on the top ten all-time list for the indoor 60m hurdles and long jump and the outdoor 100m hurdles. My personal bests include 13.87 in the 100 meter hurdles, 20 feet in the long jump, and 8.62 in the 60 meter hurdles.
Personal Bests:
Indoor 60 meter hurdles: 8.62
Outdoor 100 meter hurdles: 13.87
Long jump: 20 feet 1/2 inch
Squat Max: 215 lbs
Clean Max: 151 lbs
Depending on the age of the athlete we would develop a plan to improve the overall technique, conditioning, and weightlifting (for older athletes) of the athlete. Practices may vary from technique and drills to plyometrics and conditioning depending on the goals, level of the athlete, and season at which they are being coached.

Past Athletes (Testimonial)
Here are just a few athletes that I have coached! Kara Hallock is the current LCC school record holder in the 100 meters hurdles at Lane Community college with a time of 14.17. In just one year she was able to improve her time from 14.77 (her high school PR). She has now continued her career at Oregon State. Sean McGetrick went from running a time of 14.52 in the 110 meter hurdles at the high school height of 39 inches, and just a year later ran 14.92 at the college height of 42 inches. He also ran 55 seconds in the 400 hurdles his first year running them. His second year running at LCC he broke the school record and ran a time of 14.27 in the 110 hurdles and followed up with a ver strong 52.9 400 hurdle race. Trevor Prator “I went from running 17 seconds in the 100 meter hurdles to running a huge life time PR at 15.74. I can’t believe how much I learned my last year, from Coach Rhodes. LuLu is a 14 year old heptathlete that i have coached for about a year now and she qualified to the Junior Olympic Nationals in all of her events and placed 3rd in the high jump!
