More About Coach Philipe
Hi, I’m Philipe Preston and I am a RRCA certified running coach. I coach kids and adults from short sprint races on the track to long distance on the road. I’m currently the Cross Country and Track & Field Coach for a middle school in Manhattan. I’m also a group training lead coach in New York where I awoke with adults from 18-80 in various distances.
I ran track & field and cross country in high school and moved to longer distances as I got older. I have ran 9 marathons and countless half marathons and many shorter races.
A session with me is very specific to what the athlete is looking to achieve. If it’s speed work we will do drills to emphasize getting faster and then practice those techniques through a running workout. If it is endurance then we will focus on warming up properly and staying relaxed through a steady effort workout.
