More About Coach Paul

I have 20 years of professional coaching experience as a high school cross country and track coach. I also have several years experience coaching high school soccer. My athletes have competed at all levels including the state meets and many have gone on to successful collegiate running careers. I am certified as a Level I coach through USA Track and Field and as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning. I have a masters degree in exercise science.

I competed in middle school and high school cross country and track. In college I was a rugby player before continuing with my running after college. Since then I have finished in the top 10 three times in the San Antonio Marathon with a personal best of 2 hours and 40 minutes. I have competed in numerous ultramarathons with top 3 finished in distances up to 100 miles. I have also run a 4:57 open mile as a masters runner. I am currently an active competitor for the Soler's Racing Team.

Training sessions will be specific to the clients goals. I am well versed in training and nutritional needs of runners at all levels. I believe that individualized training sessions can be completed in 60 minutes for most runners. Clients can expect a detailed and goal specific workout with careful explanations of how each experience improves them as a runner.

Coach Paul has been amazing. I absolutely recommend him.

Every time I leave a workout from coach Paul, I feel like no one is out working me. If you’re looking to get in better shape or like me, trying to get to the Boston marathon, coach Paul is the one you’re looking for.

You’re not hiring Coach Paul for his personality!! You’re hiring him for his expertise. Coach Paul has done a great job in giving my son Noah more confidence in his running, and taking him out of his comfort zone. My son looks forward to Coach Paul’s sessions each week. If you really want to take your training to that next level, I would highly recommend Coach Paul.

Coach Paul is a really good coach, he can take you out of your "normal" comfort zone and show you what you can actually do. I have never had a coach before so this was a good and new experience. He is very knowledgeable and will gauge where you're at and what your goals are while explaining how you can accomplish them.

Great experience, although tiring. It was clear Coach Paul knew what he was talking about.

Had a great experience with coach Frost. He’s very knowledgeable and have me great exercises and stretches to prevent injury. He also explained what i need to be doing to reach my goals. I haven’t done track workouts in the past but we did a track workout today that was really great. Was exactly what I was looking for. Definitely recommend coach Frost. Money well spent.

Awesome running coach. Would recommend to anyone who needs a little help on the APFT.

Coach Paul was very helpful with my running. I had trouble passing my Army PT test and he helped me understand what I was needing to do and helped me get out of my confort zone and use my full potential.

Paul was a fantastic coach! After struggling to get ready for a military fitness test on my own, Paul really helped me push my limits and score exactly where I wanted to be. Unfortunately I had to move out of state, however I employ the training methods he taught me often to keep myself fit!

We had a session scheduled for sunday, the weather forecast was 30 degrees with 20+ mile an hour winds. One of the coldest days in texas. I was thinking about rescheduling and my coach sends me this message: "I'm sure you've seen the weather forecast for tomorrow. It's fine if you want to reschedule. However, I firmly believe that there is no such thing as bad weather--only inappropriate clothing. The weather provides an additional challenge at no extra charge"

We went out to the track and did 10 x 300 meter sprints with 100 m walk jog and a rest in between. The goal was 20 seconds for every 100 meters. By the 5th set I was almost literally crying. He didn't allow me to quit on myself. By the 8th set I couldn't do it anymore. He didn't let me quit on myself. I finished the workout, 10 sets and didn't die. Excellent motivator, knowledgeable on all things running. Definitely worth it. thank you coach! :)

Coach Paul listened to the needs of my son... A high school cross country/track runner. He designed a workout that challenged him and increased his success in competitions. He also imparted wisdom on how to be a more effective runner. Thank you!
