More About Coach Patrick
I have been a competitive cross country and track and field athlete for over eight years now. While I ran for both high school and collegiate teams, I spent a lot of time studying my coaches. Since then I have coached high school cross country and track for about a year and a half now. There is nothing I would rather be doing.
High school indoor 2 mile, 4x4, and 4x8 school records.
Collegiate 1500 outdoor school record.
Anchored both the 4x8 and Distance Medley Relay (DMR) school record teams (indoors).
Division 3 NCAA New England 1 mile champion.
Qualified for the NCAA Championship meet in the distance medley relay.
Some of my current PR's are:
1:24 (600)
2:34 (1000)
3:54 (1500)
4:14 (1 mile)
16:18 (5k high school)
26:44 (8k college)
Typical day will consist of:
-Warm up
-Dynamic stretching
-Core/strength workout
-Run (varies depending on day and upcoming runs)
-Drills
-Static Stretching
-Injury prevention techniques
Of course the intensity and workloads of these days will vary based on the goals of the individual and the physical abilities of the individual. Not everyone is trying to become a sub 4 minute miler. Then again, not everyone is trying to just increase the amount of distance they can run in one session. Whatever your goals are, I can help you achieve them.
It should also be noted that most people will pay for one, in person session a week. While you may only have one session with me directly, know that you will be getting advice on what you should be doing for the remainder of the week.

Bill Devine: Head Cross Country Coach, Westfield State University (Testimonial)
Patrick Regan did an amazing job (as athlete & coach) and I wholeheartedly recommend Pat Regan’s talent, dedication and passion for coaching. As an athlete he had that killer instinct of knowing when to kick and surge to the finish. He shares his experience as a dedicated runner with his athletes and instills his dogged determination to succeed.
