More About Coach Patricia

I love helping people achieve their goals. I have personally coached folks to finish marathons, accompanying them on the runs. I have coached middle school cross country, high school track and running groups from the Leukemia-Lymphoma society. I am a children's swim instructor and can also teach adults basic swimming technique. I am particularly drawn to helping mothers and women get back in shape, as I am a mother of eight grown kids. My kids are my inspiration, as they are accomplished athletes as well. I have two master's degrees. One thesis was a study of the concept of spirituality and exercise. I am nutrition conscious in all things, but am not afraid to have some yummy treats once in awhile! I enjoy hiking in the White Mountains for fun. I'd love to help you achieve your goals toward total wellness.

Completed over 80 marathons in 17 years. Completed 2 half iron distance triathlons, winning 3rd in age-group. Completed a swim across Lake Champlain ( over 8 miles). Also completed the 10 mile Kingdom Swim and other long distance swims for training. Accomplished several Boston qualifiers and 12 Boston Marathons. I am a regular pace leader for the Hartford, Adirondack and Manchester City marathons and half marathons.

First, I would ask them what they want. I would assess their physical limitations, if any. I would set up a time to meet with them according to our respective schedules. I would hope that we could do some light running/run/walking together for the first few sessions. Or, if they want swimming advise, we could meet at a local pool. I would survey them on their eating/sleeping/work habits. I would most likely teach them stretching routines for recovery and give them some things to work on between sessions, depending on their progress.

Client Reviews

Patricia (Pat as she goes by) is wonderful...hard stop! She is knowledgeable, attentive, sets goals wit you and helps you meet them. She is enthusiastic, positive, and just a wonderful support. I am no spring chicken, not going to win any races, and yet have my own goals I want to accomplish. She is right there alongside of me and i truly appreciate her for that.
I super highly recommend Pat!

5 stars

Coach Patricia is great! She takes the time to learn your goals and helps you set up reasonable time frames. She also takes the time to really learn what your current level is and adjusts if necessary. I would definitely recommend her to other beginner runners!
