More About Coach Olivia
During my coaching experience, I have enjoyed working with a variety of swimmers that each has different goals. I have worked with toddlers aged 3-5 in explaining and implementing water safety knowledge as well as young children, youth, to adults where I teach basic strokes and swimming technique. I create sessions based on your overall goal of what you would like to accomplish. From learning how to swim, swimming for exercise, improving technique, or working through a competitive skill base, I am determined to help you achieve those goals. I typically join the swimmer in the water during our sessions for a hands-on approach and acting as guide or example for my athlete allowing for the best teaching method in practicing drills, technique, and overall skills. As a former national level athlete and finishing my career swimming Division I at Indiana University, I have been coached by high caliber and Olympic coaches, by whom I have gained profound knowledge on the methods of coaching the sport of swimming.
NOTE: I have extensive experience teaching children and adults with disabilities how to swim.

A competitive swimmer from age 4-23. Two time USA Olympic Trial qualifier placing 12th in the 200-meter butterfly in 2012. Las Vegas high school state record holder, Four-time NIAA gold medalist, and Big Ten All-American. Competed in college at Indiana University - Bloomington.
Sessions will primarily focus on technique, using the latest drills and innovations. Additional video analysis is available upon request (NOTE: COVID restricted until further notice). Training sessions will be highly personalized and combine both technique and focus on energy system development and efficiency. The Session Plan is created between myself and the swimmer/parent and is tailored to the needs and goals of the athlete. Together we discuss the swimmer's strengths and weaknesses then create goals for the swimmer to generate a productive and motivational swim environment.
