More About Coach Nick

I am currently a Certified Personal Trainer, as well as a Certified Functional Strength Coach! Where I have worked with various age groups ranging from adolescents transitioning to college level through to senior citizens whom like to stay in good health to participate in daily routines! I've worked in various gym settings: commercial gyms, small private gyms, as well as a physical therapy/rehab facilities!

I also am a NSCAA Licensed soccer coach in the US. I have coached and trained with various elementary aged squads, to multiple premier/ travel sides. Where now I coach at a Rhode Island High school currently for the last few years, both boys and girls varsity levels!

Was a four year letterman for Soccer and Basketball through high school, then continued to play soccer in college; attending Division 1's West Virginia University, where I walked on team for 2 years. Then following an injury returned back to RI, where I then played a year of collegiate soccer at Rhode Island College!

Currently, for the last couple of years have been playing on a semi-professional team, in which we travel all over the New England area, and the league is named United Professional Soccer League (UPSL)!

A typical session one can expect, when working with me; of course varies depending on client's needs. But whether it would be for a soccer specific client or just a strength and conditioning client, we would still start with some sort of dynamic warm up and utilize foam rolling for any sore spots you may have!

Then introduce some kind of speed/agility/balance work if working with younger athletes! Where as older fitness client will get those aspects incorporated into workout routine for the day!

Then for bulk of workout around 45 mins or so, of fully-body functional movements. Incorporating my push-pull method of specific muscle groups for that training day!

And always end with a stretch and possibly foam roller if time available! :)
