More About Coach Mike

I've been coaching high school football for over 19 years. I am currently an assistant coach at Douglas Byrd High School. I've also coached at Seventy-First and Saint Pauls High School. I've coached every skill position.

I played at Douglas Byrd High School for Bob Paroli. I played college football at Methodist University. I played receiver, quarterback, kick returner and also long snapper. I have attended some of the areas best football clinics. Including Clemson, North Carolina, NC State, East Carolina and The Naval Academy.

In a training session, we would focus on fundamental drills depending on the position. We focus on speed/quick feet drills using cones. We would also use a football to improve ball skills.
