More About Coach Malcolm
Football has been a massive part of my life both through playing and coaching. I have coached athletes ranging from youth to college players. I have coached at Serra High School, helped out at View Park Prep and this season I will be coaching at Morningside High. I have no typical age group I would like to work with all I ask for is a great attitude and great effort from the athlete and everything will fall into place. I am also certified in CPR and First Aid.
I have numerous athletic accomplishments: I was All State All CIF WR in High School. I then went to Junior College and led the nation in interceptions which helped me to be ranked the highest defensive back in the nation. I also received numerous Division I scholarships allowing me to finish my career at the University of Cincinnati! After college I worked out for all 32 teams at my pro-day and had the opportunity to work out for a few teams individually. I went to rookie mini-camp with the Cincinnati Bengals, however, after being cut, the next move was the Canadian Football League where I was set to play for the Edmonton Eskimos for the 2015 season.
Each client can expect an intensive, hands on work out in which I will work on basic footwork/combinations, coming in and out breaks for DB's and change of speed coming and going at the top of a route for a WR. I will also focus on the weaknesses of each athlete to make them an overall better athlete. We will also spend time on running mechanics and also hip and core strengthening. At the end of each workout a additional stretch session is mandatory for all participants, having limber/relax muscles is the key to be able to move smoother and perform with the best of the best.

Client Reviews
Terri (CoachUp client)
Today was my sons first session with Coach Murray. He was very positive and right away it was clear he knew what he was doing. What my son really liked was that coach knows the position very well(DB) and he was able to identify and correct right away what he was doing wrong which will lead to him becoming a better player. He is looking forward to working with him more. We will definitely continue sessions.
