Basketball Training Programs are conducted by Coach Lionel Garrett. Garrett a NCAA record setting rebounder averaging 16 rbs per game.
Over the last 30 years Coach Garrett has played and coached Professional Basketball all over the World. Most recently coached Al Ahli of the Saudi Arabia Premier League, ABA division champs Athens Razors and WBA Championships in Rome (Gladiators) and Mayas USA. He also spent time coaching in the CBA (Birmingham Bandits) and the LNBP (Mayas De Yucatan) in Mexico.The High School and College Hall of Famer Coach Garrett has been named Coach of the Year and GM of the year honors twice. After being drafted and signed with the NBA San Diego Clippers Garrett became the designated rebounder of the Hall of Fame Harlem Globetrotters. A good trainer

Coach Garrett is a very insightful, thoughtful and very efficient coach. We have been training with him for over a month, 2-3 sessions per week and recently renewed to go another month.

From the opening minutes of our training, it was clear that he coaches with the wisdom only a former college + professional player can bring to the table. Everything from learning to practice off-balance form shooting, to game-speed drills to the detailed instruction on footwork to create an open shot and subtle defensive tactics that future coaches will notice.

Beyond the training on court, Coach Garrett has also provided incredibly valuable exposure to compete and play with + against high caliber players via opportunities in the local area. He's connected and respected. This not just gives the opportunity for players to test their new skills, but it also builds confidence in the process.

Coach Garrett is dependable, organized and someone you can trust your child with as an athlete and a person.

Coach did a good job, beside our little mix up with the time. The gym did get a little crowded which may have caused my session to end early. Coach had some good drills that my daughter needed.

My Relationship with Coach Garrett is like a father-son relationship. Not only with me, but he is like that with each of his players. That is what I like most about him. He is tough, he is nice, and he focuses on the skills that help you get better. He is one of the best coaches I have ever played for. I have played for him in four different seasons in my career. My rookie season in 2005 he and Orlando Magic NBA Head Advance Scout Harold Ellis were a big reason I was a Top 60 Player among the NBA Pre-Draft Camp Invitees. I won two Championships, and 3 MVP Awards with Coach Garrett as my Coach. In 2006 he coached me overseas in Mexico. I lead the LNBP in points with an average of 32.9ppg and was drafted to the NBA D-League. Then he coached me again in 2007 for Mayas USA and we won the Championship and I was named MVP and leading scorer of the league with an average of 30.3ppg. and 2013-14 season in Saudi Arabia. The way he coaches and reaches out to me on and off the court is amazing. He is a teacher of the game along with being a former player. So, with the knowledge he has I have always succeeded on the court. If you are working hard to reach the next level learning from coach Garrett's knowledge is the best advice I can give. Good luck!
