More About Coach Levi
I work as a personal coach for athletes at a corrective exercise facility. We work on training functional movement patterns while trying to fix form. 3 of my athletes are runners who are training for marathons. I work with them on running technique, breathing patterns, and strengthening exercises for their running form! I also work as a group trainer at F45 gyms. As a physical therapy student, I know training techniques and injury prevention methods for athletes.
I did all types of sports growing up in Minnesota. I played soccer, ran track, and cross country skied in high school. But most of my major achievements have come from outside the educational system. I ran my first 50 mile race (Fans) at the age of 13. I proceeded to run another 50 miler (Voyageur) at 15. Since then I have run 6 marathons, run the R2R2R, and finished my first 100 miler this past year at the Mogollon Monster! While my heart lies in ultras, I am currently training to qualify for Boston.
My coaching comes with 1 session per week. I train athletes by either showing them strengthening exercises, taking them through a running workout, or working to minimize any pain they might be having by doing manual therapy. I will also make my clients running plans so that they have a way to make it to race day. In a nutshell, I provide in person coaching once a week (focusing on what the client wants to do during that session) while remaining a virtual coach and accountability partner during the rest of the week.
