More About Coach Leo
I have coached basketball teams and run basketball camps over the years. I have also helped a high school team that had a losing record to become a really good team in Chicago. But since 2011 I have been just coaching high school Lacrosse. In the past I have worked with Micheal Jordans KIds, Marcus and Jeffrey. Also Mookie Blaylocks kids were in my program and I trained Horace Grant Junior at Basketball.
I started playing Lacrosse in third grade in a summer program that my High School coach started. All summer long we worked on drills and played Lacrosse until I was in Middle School. From my 7th grade team up until my JV team we never lost a game and the Varsity team tied a world record for 93 games won in a row. Our High School is mentioned almost every weekend on TV during college Lacrosse games. From my years of playing Lacrosse I have a understanding of transferring my skills that I have learned to my players.
I have also played Basketball at a high level even competing against NBA players. I was invited to play in a Celebrity Basketball game with Nick Vanexel of the Los Angeles Lakers. I have always been able to pick up any sport and have loved playing many different sports. I am almost 49 years old and I still play Basketball and tennis and I will throw on the pads to play with my players.
As a coach I am willing to get dirty and not afraid to show my players that I practice what I preach. So if I make them run a bunch of stadiums they know that I can do it too.
Our sessions will focus on fundamentals of the game. I try to pack a hour of fast paced drills in to make sure that by the time the lesson is over the student is exhausted. We work on proper shooting techniques and proper footwork and off ball movement passing and feeding drills. Also work on defense and defense positioning proper stick checks. I also give my students drills to do at home which will help with his stick work.

He was just what our daughter needed. He had helped her improve in just two sessions. He was so easy to work with and he genuinely cared. We had our son taking lessons too which we planned to continue. It went in the opposite direction when we needed to make a change for one of our kids. Do not pay for these lessons outside of the app. We wanted a refund for sessions that we no longer wanted because of how he was behaving. He kept $240 of our money. He refunded the money after I left this review.

Coach Leo is great. Our son was interested in playing lacrosse and Coach Leo was willing to work with a kid with zero experience. My son is already taking what he has learned with Coach Leo and is practicing his drills every day (a variety of drills that focus on ball and stick control right now). Coach Leo is very patient with the kids and talks to them in way where they understand what he is trying to get them to do. On a parental level, he is very responsive and gives concrete feedback. Highly recommended.
